The excellent sports training facilities at Hillsborough College support the wide range of courses and include:

• All-weather Astro-Turf sports pitch - floodlit for use throughout the year for a range of sporting activities including football, hockey and cricket
• Fitness Suite fitted with free standing resistance training machines, a variety of free weights including dumb bells and bar bells and numerous cardio-vascular machines
• Sports Science Laboratory equipped with industry standard fitness testing equipment including blood pressure and heart rate monitors, peak flow metres and many more fitness testing devices
• National standard sports hall with 4 courts incorporating facilities for football, badminton, basketball, volley ball, table tennis, gymnastics, hockey, trampolining, netball, tennis and more
• Changing facilities and shower areas

Most courses offer the opportunity for the student to achieve additional qualifications in subjects such as Football Coaching, Basketball Coaching, Fitness Suite Instructors, Pool Lifeguard, Community Sports Leader Award, Travel Destinations, Welcome Host and Travel Representatives.
