The excellent sports training facilities at Hillsborough College support the wide range of courses and include:

• All-weather Astro-Turf sports pitch - floodlit for use throughout the year for a range of sporting activities including football, hockey and cricket
• Fitness Suite fitted with free standing resistance training machines, a variety of free weights including dumb bells and bar bells and numerous cardio-vascular machines
• Sports Science Laboratory equipped with industry standard fitness testing equipment including blood pressure and heart rate monitors, peak flow metres and many more fitness testing devices
• National standard sports hall with 4 courts incorporating facilities for football, badminton, basketball, volley ball, table tennis, gymnastics, hockey, trampolining, netball, tennis and more
• Changing facilities and shower areas

Most courses offer the opportunity for the student to achieve additional qualifications in subjects such as Football Coaching, Basketball Coaching, Fitness Suite Instructors, Pool Lifeguard, Community Sports Leader Award, Travel Destinations, Welcome Host and Travel Representatives.

Abbey Flyers is a trampoline club for all, aiming to give individuals a chance to achieve something different with their lives and strives to be the best club in not only Great Britain but the World!

Abbey Flyers has satellite clubs in all areas of  Sheffield, South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. The main base is the performance centre at All Saints Sports College Sheffield, with additional sessions at Wisewoodd Sports Centre, Stocksbridge Sports Centre, Handsworth Grange Sports Centre and Valley Park School.

The club is a volutary organisation, which reaches over 500 people per week from all areas. The club was the first trampoline club in Yorkshire, and one of the first in the country, to gain GymMark, which is the Sport England Club Mark accreditation through British Gymnastics.

Since initially starting the trampoline club as an after school club in November 2000, the club has expanded and exceeded all expectations. Initially with 11 members the club began to grow and now has over 250 regualr members and many more recreational participants. The club now boasts 25 British National Finalists including one British Champion. The club has members on National programmes aiming to achieve at top World level.

There are 40 qualified trampoline judges and officials, and over 20 qualified trampoline coaches from grass routes to high performance. They all give many hours of their voluntary time each week to Abbey Flyers. They dedicate their time to the community of the club, helping all the young people to reach their full potential and providing opportunities that they would otherwise not be able to access.
